"The mission of the Maranatha SDA Church is to lead people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christlike maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and world."
In fulfilling its mission, the Maranatha SDA Church also operates the Maranatha Child Development Center and the William A. Kirlew Jr. Academy, which provide superior Christian education to children of the church and community.
The staff of the Maranatha Child Development Center and the William A. Kirlew Jr. Academy (WAKJA) are committed to imparting the skills and values needed by society. Their goal is to prepare children for effective service to their fellowmen and for the hymn pays of wide service in the world to course.
