M. Webster Turgott

Senior Pastor

Pastor M. Webster Turgott has served as a pastor with the Seventh-day Adventist Church since 1995. His ministry began in the East Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventist where he served as pastoral intern, teacher and district pastor for more than nine years. It was also during this period of service that he was ordained to the gospel ministry in August 2001.

In 2004, Pastor Turgott and his family emigrated to Canada where he attended graduate school. After graduate studies, he worked for three years in a specialized program with First Nations Canadians dealing with issues of trans-generational trauma. He then left this program to continue full time ministry. In his last assignment, Pastor Turgott served with the Alberta Conference for over 13 years.

Pastor Turgott is deeply convicted of his call to the gospel ministry. Along the way, he has gained vital knowledge and skills which he firmly believes are an asset to ministry and he wishes to continue using these knowledge and skills to advance the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He has spent all his pastoral career in Alberta, Canada ministering to multi-ethnic congregations. He believes this has prepared him to pastor in many different contexts.

One of the greatest joys of Pastor Turgott is to have his wife and son by his side in ministry. He praises God for his beautiful wife Pauline who has been a rock of support to him for 26, going on 27 years of marriage.

Pastor Turgott holds a B.A. degree in Pastoral Ministry from West Indies College (now NCU), a Master of Science degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University and, a Doctor of Education degree in Community Care and Counselling from Liberty University.

Despite the challenges at times, Pastor Turgott identifies his call to the gospel ministry as the most significant development in his life. In his spare time he enjoys hanging out with his wife and watching sports.

Khaleel Clarke

Associate/Youth Pastor

Pastor Khaleel Clarke was born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica. He began his walk with the Lord at age seventeen and soon after sensed a clear call to gospel ministry. At nineteen, he relocated to Miami, Florida, before enrolling at Oakwood University to pursue that calling.

During his time at Oakwood, Pastor Clarke was honored to serve as Mr. Oakwood University (2016–2017) and later as Religious Vice President of the United Student Movement (2017–2018), opportunities that shaped his spiritual leadership and commitment to service.

Pastor Clarke holds a Master of Divinity from Andrews University Theological Seminary. He previously served as Assistant Pastor for Youth and Young Adults at the Mt. Calvary Seventh-day Adventist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of the Meridian–Sylverena District in Central Mississippi and was ordained to the gospel ministry in June 2024.

Outside of ministry, Pastor Clarke enjoys listening to podcasts, watching football, reading, and exploring creative pursuits. He is joyfully married to his best friend, the former Dominique De Abreu, and together they delight in the gift of their daughter, Aléthia, whose name means truth. They are also joyfully expecting their second child.

His favorite passage of Scripture is John 8:32: “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” He holds fast to the promise that the God who began a good work in him will faithfully bring it to completion.
